Wallace Community College Selma Email: All registered students at Wallace Community College Selma, will have an assigned GMail email address. This address will be used to communicate with your instructors, receive alerts, and receive notifications concerning WCCS registrations and events.
For all new, 2014 Fall Semester students, your account name or email address will consist of your firstname.lastname and is to the left of @students.wccs.edu. Your initial password will be your social security number.
For returning students, your account name or email address will consist of your last name and your six-digit Student Id number and is to the left of @students.wccs.edu. If you do not know your student number, you may obtain it by clicking Get Your Student ID #. Your initial password will be your social security number.
To access the campus email system for the first time, open your Internet browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc.) and type http://wccs.edu/studentmail into the address line. In the field to the right of the words “Username”, enter your full email address. In the password field below, enter your social security number. Then click on the “Sign In” button. GMail will require you to complete the registration process by changing your password, entering a string of CAPTCHA text, and agreeing to their terms of service. The initial registration is a ONE TIME only event and subsequent logins will take you directly to your mail box.
Your account will automatically be created, but will not be activated until your tuition has been paid. Please wait approximately 1 hour after clearing your registration fees to log in to your email account.
Your Wallace Community College Selma email address can be used for personal email however your WCCS email address MUST BE used for all official class correspondence with your instructor. This applies to traditional classes as well as E-Learning based instruction. If you need assistance resetting your password, please contact the E-Learning department for help.
