Welcome Back Spring 2022!


First Day of class - January 18, 2021

Please note that in the first week of class January 18th - January 21st students will attend class remotely or online.  You will be required to log into your online CANVAS course shell and complete required assignments within the first 3 days of class.  If you do not log into your course and submit your first assignment, your instructor will report you as a "NO Show" and drop your name from the class roster. Click on the following link to access your CANVAS course login page:  https://alabama.instructure.com/

Return to In-Person Instruction - January 24, 2022 

Starting January 24, 2022, students will return to class for in-person instruction.  The dates and times scheduled for on-campus class meetings are noted in the course syllabus and in your CANVAS online course shell.

Mask Mandate

 

Students are required to wear mask and practice social distancing at ALL times while on campus. 

Lunch & Learn COVID virtual information session and a COVID vaccination Clinic (January 25, 2022, & January 26, 2022) 

Students will receive a 5-pts extra credit incentive for attending the virtual COVID Lunch & Learn event on January 25th.  This credit will be applied to the syllabus quiz assignment that students must complete within the first 3 days of class.  In addition, the first 150 - 175 students who participate in the vaccination clinic on January 26th will receive a $25 gift card incentive.  Additional gift cards incentives will be raffled off to students who are already vaccinated AND attend the Lunch & Learn event.

 

Know that we have been anticipating and planning for your return. Please adhere to CDC health protocols.  If you are sick, exhibiting symptoms related to the Coronavirus, or have been in close contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19 please stay at home and contact your instructor via email or phone.  In order to ensure the health of our learning environment, health screening and temperature checks will be taken at the college entry point.  Please note that you must wear your mask in your car during the health screening process.
