WCCS STUDENT-ATHLETES SHINE ON FALL 2023 COMMISSIONER'S HONOR ROLL

Selma, AL – We are proud to announce that numerous student-athletes from WCCS have earned a place on the Fall 2023 Commissioner's Honor Roll by achieving a remarkable 3.00 GPA or higher. These individuals have demonstrated exceptional athletic prowess and excelled in their academic pursuits, showcasing a commendable balance between sports and education.

Commissioner Dean Myrick commended these student-athletes for their outstanding academic and sports dedication. "These student-athletes and teams should be extremely proud of themselves, as they have balanced academics with practice and games," stated Commissioner Myrick. "I am very proud of them and the faculty and staff at our amazing colleges for their work in preparing our student-athletes for life outside of athletics.”

WCCS President James M. Mitchell added his congratulations, saying, "The achievements of these student-athletes exemplify the commitment to excellence that we strive for at WCCS. Their hard work, both on the field and in the classroom, reflects the values we hold dear in our institution. We are proud to have such dedicated individuals as part of our community.”
